Pillar Two
Equipped to thrive — in the lab and in life
To ensure students are fully prepared for the workforce, we provide direct professional-development tools alongside flexible financial assistance. At the center of it all: real coaching from people who hire, build, and lead in STEM.
Career & Interview Coaching
This is the heart of what we do. Every student works directly with mentors who interview, hire, and lead in their field — turning guidance into offers, and potential into a career.
It's personal, ongoing, and tailored to each student — not a one-size-fits-all workshop.
What it includes
1:1 career-path planning
Map a realistic path from where you are to where you want to be — degree alignment, target roles, and the steps in between.
Mock interviews — technical & behavioral
Practice with real industry mentors who interview candidates for a living, then get specific, actionable feedback.
Salary & offer negotiation
Learn to evaluate and negotiate an offer with confidence — one conversation can be worth thousands of dollars a year.
Interview coaching & storytelling
Sharpen how you present your experience, answer behavioral questions, and tell a compelling professional story.
LinkedIn & personal brand
Build a profile that gets noticed by recruiters and pairs perfectly with your free professional headshots.

The Student Enrichment Fund
Removing the small stressors that derail focus
Beyond services, grants are intended for daily living and academic-preparation expenses, disbursed directly to the student — not applied to tuition or housing.
The goal is to eliminate the minor financial stressors that accumulate and derail academic focus. Students should be thinking about labs and lectures — not basic survival.
Dignity and focus first. Funds are disbursed with the student's discretion in mind, treating them as capable adults — not line items.
Approved uses include
Technology & hardware
A reliable laptop for labs and coursework
Professional & campus attire
Interview-ready and everyday clothing
Personal care & hygiene
